In November 2019, we received an inquiry from Mr. Mahdi, who is from Iran.
He is an aluminum extrusion plant with 5 aluminum production lines.
He wanted to find a Chinese supplier to purchase felt for the aluminum extrusion industry.
The reason why he wanted to find a new supplier was that the quality of his supplier’s products was unstable and unqualified.
He said, “Quality problems in the spare parts of the aluminum handling system will affect the fluency of production.”
We replied “We have been manufacturing heat-resistant felts for almost 11 years, and quality problems can be guaranteed.
The product quality is not good and will not be shipped”
He talked about prices many times in the conversation and discussion, and he often pressured our prices.
We replied, “If the price is lower, the quality cannot be guaranteed. The old Chinese saying goes, “You get what you pay for.”
Good quality products can save you time and worry, and you can focus on production. High-quality felt makes high-quality aluminum profiles. “
After the price was negotiated, he asked SGS to inspect the factory. Of course, we have no problem with this.
In order to solve the trust problem, we also arranged for the local Iranian customers and friends who have cooperated to call Mahdi. Later I found out that they were friends.
The entire order negotiation process lasted 4 months, from November 2019 to March 2020.
